Data collected when a quote request is submitted

When a list of items is put together and the request is sent, the data provided in the form is collected: name, email, phone number, company (if any), event date and location, number of guests, the message written and the items selected. This data is used solely to reply with availability and a quote, and to recognise later requests coming from the same email address. It is not shared with anyone outside the organisation, nor used to send advertising.

Data collected automatically while browsing

To understand how the site is used and to improve it, certain technical information is recorded anonymously: pages visited, device and browser type, referral source (for example a search engine), and searches made in the catalogue. The IP address is never stored in plain form: it is immediately converted into a code that cannot be traced back to an individual. This data remains solely within internal records and is not passed to any external statistics or advertising service (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or similar tools are not used).

Cookies

The site uses only technical cookies, necessary for it to function - for example to store the quote list during browsing. The full list is available in the Cookie Policy.

External services

To display the site's typefaces, the pages load fonts from Google Fonts. This means the browser contacts Google's servers, which may receive the IP address according to their own practices. No other external services that collect visitor data are used: quote request emails are sent directly from the site's own server, without passing through services such as Mailchimp.

Where data is stored

The site and its database are hosted on a server located in Germany, so data remains within the European Union. The only exception is the Google Fonts loading described above, which may involve contact with Google servers located outside the European Union.

Legal basis for processing

Quote-request data is processed as necessary to respond to the request (pre-contractual steps) or to perform the rental agreement, where concluded. Anonymous statistical data is processed on the basis of the Data Controller's legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site.

How long the data is kept

Quote request data is kept for a maximum of 10 years from the date of the request. Where the request results in a completed rental, the data is kept for as long as required by accounting and tax obligations (in practice, also up to 10 years). Statistical data, being anonymous, cannot be traced back to an individual.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject may at any time request: confirmation of the existence of their data, correction if inaccurate, deletion, restriction of processing, a copy in a readable format, or may object to processing. A complaint may also be lodged with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante). To exercise these rights, write to info@montinerinoleggio.it: a reply will be provided within one month.
